Group Runs

SPRR extends an open invitation to runners and walkers of all abilities to come out and join us for one of our group runs. Details below.

SPRR is offering a 4 to 7.5 mile beach run/walk each morning through the week, tide permitting. If you like walking or running on the beach, this is for you! It's a great way to start the day.

Fit for Life - SpeedWork and Group Runs

SPRR is offering a mile run along a loop course on Tuesday nights.  Feel free to run more or less if you prefer or join other SPRR members doing speedwork along Gulf Blvd. We have the course marked in 1/8 mile increments.  In addition to the workout, a group of members often walks over to a local Italian restaurant for a nice yet runner's casual sit down dinner.  We'd love to have you join us. ______________________________________________________________________________________

Feather Sound One Loop Course
Feather Sound Two Loop Course

The Feather Sound Loop is 3.95 miles for a single loop or a double loop of 6.7 miles.  This is a scenic door-to-door run from the Wellness Center which offers rest rooms, water fountains, and the opportunity to purchase sports drinks, bars, and shakes. ______________________________________________________________________________________

Carillon Wellness Center -  Beginnings Training Group Open to All

Join Jim at the Carillon Wellness Center for a .76 mile boardwalk loop run or walk which surrounds a lake as the group completes this course up to 4 times or 3 miles.  This door-to-door run from the Wellness Center offers rest rooms, water fountains, and the opportunity to purchase sports drinks, bars, and shakes. ______________________________________________________________________________________
            
Friday Night Run and Social   Fridays at 6:00 PM

Join club members every Friday night at 6:00 pm at the Coffee Pot Park for a waterfront run to the Pier and back, or as long as you'd like it to be.   And don’t forget to stick around and celebrate your run with other club members as we take in some great food and libations afterwards! ______________________________________________________________________________________

You will be sure to find someone to run with on our Saturday morning run from Fit for Life, and groups are organized based on pace. The course is approximately 5 miles out and back. However, we have runners and walkers going distances from 3 to 15 miles.

A great way to meet runners of all abilities!  There is a variety of distances with the average being around 10 miles but you will always find someone running 6 up to 20.
